Hired by Luc van Gompel (co-founder of AND International Publishers and former Director ANP) to take the lead in the creation of the startup Parcls.com. This included making the plan of action, marketing strategy, functional designs for the web-application and app (including back-end), conceptualization of business intelligence based on a graph database and functional designs for route planning software.


During our project with DAEL, we’ve created a new business plan for DAEL Telecom regarding WiFi / 4g connection Solutions for large events like music festivals. The project included market research (target, proposition, suppliers/partnerships), we made functional designs for complementary Apps and negotiated prices and partnerships with potential suppliers of these Apps. B-Thinking was highly involved at the strategic level,
for example: supporting on how and when to approach potential strategic partners.


During our ongoing project with Anuar Abdelkrim (Comedian/Actor/Writer), we've created a streamlined social media campaign that aimed at increasing his online reach. In short, B-thinking created a framework for Anuar to approach his target market using Facebook and Youtube. The campaign has led to a substantial increase in page likes on Facebook (17k and counting as of 11-04-2017) with several of Anuar's posts reaching over 100k views. The campaign was even picked up by The New York Times! The NYT even reached out to Anuar for an interview, this led to Anuar being on the front page of the NYT on 13-03-2017. The publication was about succesful muslims in the Netherlands, Anuar was featured together with other succesful individuals (including for example the Mayor of Rotterdam Mr. Aboutaleb).


What started as a graduation internship assignment for TE Connectivity, turned into the creation of a totally new sales process using Augmented Reality for the TE Consumer Devices business unit. Bas was working directly for Ian Aspland (Global Director Sales). The newly created sales process used the AR technology by the, at the time, newly launched Aurasma company. The new system would simplify the buying process for TE's customers while increasing the amount of data TE had regarding the buying process of its customers. When implemented the new system would streamline the total supply chain and reduce TE's so called 'long tail' (large product portfolio), saving millions (USD) in production costs alone. During the project Bas visited customers and TE facilities in Belgium, Hungary, China (Shanghai and Beijing), Germany, United Kingdom.


A side project by our founder Bas van der Putten has been That Dancer TV, Bas created the That Dancer TV concept and co-founded the company together with Nabiel Hamich. That Dancer TV aims to be the Guide to the World of Dancing, with a primary focus on underground battles and events. TDTV is a community and media production company active on both Facebookand YouTube. By using a growth hacking approach the Facebook page got 5k+ likes within 6 months with an average reach of 100k per post. Unfortunately the co-founder Nabiel is (temporarily) unable to continue TDTV due to personal reasons. When circumstances allow so TDTV will continue its activities.
